Debut album ‘Fractured Life’ earned the band a cult following and critical acclaim from NME, The Fader and The Sunday Times who called it "an often mentioned, rarely sighted thing: an emotional rollercoaster ride, get on it. 5/5".

With each song, you're taken on an emotional rollercoaster, and you enjoy the ride, going from celebration to sadness, nostalgia to hope." - NYLON

Chris Garneau draws influences from the likes of Nina Simone, the otherworldly pop songs of Tori Amos and the alien harmonies of the Cocteau Twins, to the devastating confessionals of Cat Power, Nick Drake and Elliott Smith. Combining emotional vocals and perfectly paced piano led orchestrations, Garneau has found his own voice, which is utterly magical.

Coco Hames (USA)

There is an old saying “you have your whole life to write your first record.” For Coco Hames the songs from her self titled debut poured from her through a sustained burst of inspiration, but it took more then a decode to live out.
As the frontwomen force behind garage-pop combo The Ettes, Hames blazed a trail across the 00’ underground. When she began work on her solo album co-produced by Andrija Tokic (Alabama Shakes, Hurray for the Riff Raff) in Nashville “It was this massive leap of faith for me,” she admits. With a little help from friends, bassist Jack Lawrence (The Raconteurs), drummer Julian Dorio (The Whigs), and lead guitarist Adam Meisterhans (The Weight), Hames as created a deeply personal timeless record filled it with poignant ruminations.

Dan Mangan (CAN)

Never one to rest on his laurels or do what’s expected, Dan Mangan has, yet again, transformed his sound. From the traditional stripped-down acoustic folk of 2010’s Nice Nice Very Nice, to the sweeping orchestration and avant-jazz arrangements of 2012’s Oh Fortune, Dan Mangan works best when he’s moving forward, challenging himself. His latest, Club Meds, released in 2015 by City Slang, is a departure, both sonically and thematically. The music is darker, more complex, but just as affecting as anything he’s ever done, with the richness and honesty of his singular voice ascending over the music.
